Why we need to ‘manually’ search the music video title?
Chart Rankings: Many music charts, like YouTube or Billboard, factor in organic searches and views. When we manually search for the music video, it signals genuine interest and engagement, as opposed to simply clicking a link. This helps improve the video’s ranking and visibility on these platforms.
Algorithm Impact: Manually searching for a video signals organic interest to YouTube's algorithm, helping it appear in trending lists and recommended sections, boosting its reach.
Combatting View Freezing or Decrease: Platforms may freeze or reduce views if they detect abnormal spikes. Manual searches make views appear more organic, reducing this risk.
To support a music video's success:
- Avoid hovering and letting it auto-play to maintain click-through rates.
- Pause and rewind during playback to register as human interaction; DO NOT skip.
- Ensure video quality is at least 480p (720p recommended).
- Watch the entire video.
- Like and comment, but avoid spamming.
- Share the video link on social media.
- Watch ‘official’ videos afterward.
